Company History
In 1960, our founder Rudolph Bonelli began his career as a plumbing and heating contractor. His first experience in the industry was converting cold water flats to central heating systems. These systems included radiator units, fuel oil boilers, burner units and fuel storage tanks. This experience equipped Mr. Bonelli with the technical knowledge of a wide range of heating systems, preparing him to launch a company committed to meeting all of its customers needs.
During the 1960’s Rudolph Bonelli started running a business that installed complete plumbing and heating systems in hundreds of new homes in the Queens area. The housing boom of the 1960’s allowed Mr. Bonelli’s company to flourish and in 1972 he purchased a fuel delivery company named Ranshaw. Mr. Bonelli merged the two companies and built them into the leading heating, fuel oil, gas service and plumbing company in the New York area.
Ranshaw has built its customer base to over 10000 since Mr. Bonelli began the company. His strong values have left their imprint on each generation of the Bonelli family and after 3 generations and over 50 years of impeccable service, his dream is alive and well. Mr. Bonelli believed in providing the best customer service that was possible and his belief has become the cornerstone of the Ranshaw promise.
