Family History
Back in 1960, our founder Rudolph Bonelli, started as a plumbing and heating contractor. He started in the heating industry in the early 1950's converting cold water flats to central heating systems. These systems included radiator units, fuel oil boilers, burner units and fuel storage tanks. Rudolph Bonelli started his business installing complete plumbing and heating systems in hundreds of new homes in the Queens area during the building boom of the 1960's. In 1972 he purchased a fuel oil delivery company named Ranshaw and merged the two companies into what is now known as Ranshaw. Over the years, Ranshaw has purchased many other fuel oil distributors and now serves over 10,000 active customers. From its origins, three Bonelli generations have owned and operated this family business, providing over 40 years of dedicated, continuous personalized service to its customers!
