Ranshaw will deliver fuel oil (#2 and #4) to your home or business regardless of weather conditions. We are a full service company (no C.O.D. deliveries) committed to offering the highest quality fuel oil at the lowest possible prices. Those two pledges make up the "Ranshaw way" and we pride ourselves on offering this to our customers for over 40 years!

Many of our customers take advantage of our free automatic delivery service. It saves them the trouble of monitoring the amount of oil in their tanks and provides worry-free delivery of oil. When you request automatic delivery, Ranshaw uses a sophisticated computer and the 'degree-day index' to determine your oil consumption patterns. These patterns are then used to calculate a timely delivery schedule.

The 'degree-day index' is based on degrees below an outdoor average temperature of 65 degrees. For example, on a day with an outdoor average temperature of 50 degrees, the 'degree day index' would be 15 degrees. Our computer judges how many degree days it takes for your home to use a gallon of oil. By keeping track of degree days it tells us when you are due for a delivery.

Our truck fleet also employs a state of the art wireless dispatching system equipped with GPS tracking technology. This allows us to dispatch our personnel in the most efficient way possible. All of our oil truck meters are also certified for accuracy by the government's Department of Weights and Measures. We use state of the art digital Liquid Controls Count meters and every delivery is certified accurate- GUARANTEED. With this system, we can guarantee our customers that they are charged only for the gallons they receive. Each delivery ticket is computer certified accurate. It is stamped with the time, date, driver number, truck number, type of fuel delivered, price per gallon, taxes and a total amount . This delivery ticket also represents the customer's delivery invoice.

Also, every vehicle in our fleet is serviced regularly to assure proper operation and safety. All Ranshaw service technicians and oil drivers are trained professionals that portray the highest level of courtesy and respect. Periodic, scheduled training is required to assure the highest quality of service and safety to you, our customer. Our customers can rest easy knowing their heating needs are in good hands.
