LIHEAP Energy Assistance Program
You Or Someone You Know May Be Eligible For Help With Home Heating Bills.
If you have difficulty affording your home energy bill, there is a federal program that exists that you may qualify for that may assist you. The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is a federally-funded program to help eligible low income homeowners and renters meet their home heating needs. Don't face safety risks if you are unable to pay your home energy bills. Some people resort to unsafe methods to keep their homes warm or cool. These include the use of fireplaces, stoves, improperly vented portable heaters, barbecue grills, or overloading electrical circuits. These methods are not only fire hazards, but also create the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. For more details visit the DHHS LIHEAP website.

Citizens Energy Assistance Program
In an effort to help our customers reduce their heating oil costs, Ranshaw is an authorized Citizens Energy distributor. This means that Ranshaw can service any customer that is eligible for this program. Customers must first apply to Citizens Energy to become eligible for up to 100 gallons of free fuel oil. Only Citizens Energy can approve a customer for the program.
